How to install and setup a production Semantic Instrument Repository
The installation of a full production environment may be a lot more challenging than installing a SIR development instance. A production environment requires attention to many aspects of a web application such as the following: user registration, email configuration for user authentication, front-end website security including webserver and firewall configuration, back-end website security, scalability setups including scalability of backend data repositories. SIR has gone through all those issues and we will be happy to assist projects interested in adopting SIR. A full documentation of more advanced configurations is still work in progress.
The publications in this website also provide valuable content to understand our semantic solution for data acquisition and management.
